One painting I did recently sparked so much interest that I did a few more similar to it for people who’d missed their chance at buying the original even though prints were available. When I do a job like that I try not to copy the first painting exactly but get the mood of it whilst making the subsequent paintings as individual as possible. |

This one is from an old black and white postcard of a holiday camp in the 1950s. The girl on the top of the diving board structure is my Mum and I did this picture as a birthday present for her. |

I believe my prices are reasonable. For example: A watercolour painting of approx. A3 (¼ Imperial) size will cost from £120. Larger, more complicated pictures (eg; a portrait with several family members), or work in Oils will cost more. I always discuss the price with my clients before a job starts, we agree a price and the finished work is subject to the client’s approval. |
